The brief
Zentiri was a revamp. The app already existed in code, built on Next.js and shadcn. The job was a new mark, a landing page, the employer app and the employee portal, plus the pieces around them: share images, email footers and an invoice.
What we did
We drew a new mark, a solid Z with a full stop, and built the system around one shape, the Day Strip. It's a row of small day cells that shows leave balances, who's out this week, onboarding progress and payroll cycles. It's a real component in the app, not decoration.
We designed both sides of the app. The employer side covers the dashboard, leave with a team calendar, payroll runs with a review, approve and pay flow, the recruitment pipeline and employee records. The employee portal has payslips, leave and documents. Both have mobile layouts, dialogs, and empty and error states. Engineering got tokens for Tailwind 3 and 4, exported frames and a written handoff.
Key decisions
The first direction, Open Door, used public-domain paintings and a warm palette. It was set aside for a brighter direction built around people: off-white grounds and one lime accent, #C6F24E. Inter is used for the interface, and Bricolage Grotesque only for page titles and big numbers.
Nothing in the product pretends. Money shows as CUR 0.00 with a Placeholder tag until pricing and currency are settled, and the sample companies and people are fictional.
